Guandong Buddhist association - China, donated an ambulance to M H Omar Liver Care Facility -  Colombo North Centre For Liver Diseases, CNTH, Ragama on 23rd June 2025. This donation was facilitated by Ministry of Foreign affairs , Sri Lanka - China Buddhist friendship association and Faculty of Medicine, University of Kelaniya. Ambassador from People’s Republic of China attended the formal handing over event as the chief guest. This timely gift will greatly improve the efficiency of patient care and ultimately improve the outcomes of the liver transplant programme.
