GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS

1) How to apply?

Email your interest in obtaining a placement for electives through an email request to
cncldragama@gmail.com
Or you can fill the application form that can be downloaded from cncld@kln.ac.lk

2) You will be informed via email about the confirmation of your placement.

3) For overseas students – The standard application process through Faculty of Medicine needs to be followed.

4) Once you arrive for the electives on your starting day, contact the demonstrator/Doctor in charge who will give you a guided briefing on the functioning of CNCLD.

5) Fill the electives registry once you arrive.

6) You have the freedom to accommodate into the work schedule of the center. You can liaise with all the staff including medical and paramedical who are trained in the work they do and plan your own schedule.

7) You are expected to work in harmony with the Medical students from Faculty Of Medicine, Ragama.

8) If you wish to participate in a special project during the stay – contact the consultant in your area of interest.

9) If you wish to have your elective in a specific area of interest, state the requirement in the application and directly contact the consultant (e.g., Anesthesia, Paediatrics).
